Complicated Rx work is welcomed, and “YES” you can use your eyeglass frames again…

Buying eyeglass frames at a discount means I can pass on a cost savings to you on hundreds of frame choices. Low overhead and effective resources makes Bill Valentine Optical savings possible. Everyone is welcomed. You can take advantage of the benefits of quality eyeglasses at affordable prices without the “warehouse” atmosphere. If you have a frame at home in good condition, think about putting it to work with new lenses.

I work with an online web application service that allows me to seamlessly check a patient’s eligibility and benefits, as well as, provides me with the ability to electronically file claims to increase the quality of care and service at the office.
As an open source insurance provider it frees my practice from the contractual restraints of insurance. I can choose the materials to sell, the optical labs that will do the best work, and keep my fees for products at affordable pricing.

Please Note: Your eye doctor will provide you with a copy of your eyeglass Rx. Under federal law, you have a right to a copy of your eyeglass prescription so that you can shop for the best value in eyewear. If you don’t have a copy with you, then simply call your eye doctor and have them mail you a copy of the Eyeglass Rx.

Important information each patient should leave the eye doctor’s office knowing.

The ability to see clearly is clinically defined with an eye chart (i.e. 20/20, 20/25, 20/30, 20/40, 20/50, etc…).

Each patient should know the following information:

1. What is your vision with your current glasses?
2. What is your vision with the new prescription?
3. If your vision is less than 20/20 (considered normal), what are the reasons?

Frame Warranties:

Broken_Eyeglass_WarrantyFrame Warranties Explained: All the frames I sell are new and have a one year warranty against any manufacturer’s defects. I buy overrun frame stock and outlet style closeouts to bring the cost of the frames down, so it is not always possible to replace the occasional factory defect with the identical frame. In cases where it is not possible to replace the frame I will be happy to find you another frame of similar value to re-mount the existing Rx lenses into the new frame. This buying concept is the essence of my “Spare Specs for Less” program.

You are welcomed to use a frame you already have, or one that is used at your own risk. Every precaution is taken to handle used frames, especially the vintage variety, with care. I have arrangements with an outstanding optical lab specialist who will exercise his best professional judgment when fabricating the Rx lenses into your frame; however, I can’t take any responsibility if something unexpectedly goes badly and the frame breaks. In the event that your frame fails during the lab processing procedure, you will be welcomed to purchase any frame from my stock at a 50% discount.
